Craig Macaulay

Craig joined the Board in February 2021.

Craig is a Chartered Accountant and an expert in IT forensics and data interrogation with over 30 years’ experience. Craig works with the specialist class action law firm Phi Finney McDonald as a Data Scientist, applying his skills in the IT realm combining his accounting and data knowledge. He has worked on and managed teams on a range of computer forensic, electronic discovery and data analytic engagements across Australia and South East Asia.

Craig is a leading innovator, in Australia and globally, in the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence in investigations and legal matters.

Craig began his career at Coopers Lybrand and worked in various roles in industry as a Chief Accountant and for several accounting firms in leadership roles including Ernst & Young, KordaMentha and PPB.

Craig is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and has a Graduate Certificate in E-Crime investigation from University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Deakin University.

From a personal perspective Craig and his family have experienced what it means for someone to have a spinal cord injury with both his father and youngest brother suffering from spinal injuries.
