Charlie Heerey

Charlie has lived experience as a paraplegic/wheelchair user since 1992. In his spare time, Charlie enjoys sit-skiing and archery. He has a keen interest in disability related charities and has held board positions with Wheelchair Sports Victoria and Robert Rose Foundation.

In his professional life, Charlie has over 25 years’ experience in financial markets helping high net worth private clients and not-for-profit organisations manage their investment portfolios. He has been a senior investment adviser at Ord Minnett (EL&C Baillieu) since 2014, having worked in similar roles at Bell Potter, JBWere and Phillip Capital since 2002. Prior to investment advising, he worked in corporate and business banking at Westpac for 6 years. Charlie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (Honours) from Monash University, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investments from FINSIA and a Graduate Certificate in Business (Philanthropy) from QUT.
