SCI Research Collaboration Grants 2020 awarded to seven research groups

The SRI is thrilled to be supporting seven collaborative research groups across eight countries to attend the 2020 International Spinal Cord Society (ISCoS) Virtual Meeting.

This year’s SCI Research Collaboration Grants are, for the first time, supporting groups of researchers to attend ISCoS, which is being held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We asked grant applicants to demonstrate how they are working to pool expertise and obtain cross-fertilisation of research ideas through collaboration.

Congratulations to the researchers from the following countries who were awarded grants:

  • Australia
  • Nepal
  • Netherlands
  • Norway
  • South Africa
  • Sweden
  • Thailand
  • USA

The SCI Research Collaboration Grants are designed to make a significant impact on progressing collaborative research, particularly for talented early career researchers. The grants cover registration costs for the virtual five-day meeting and will be an important step for the groups towards increased collaboration and research opportunities.

We look forward to sharing more from the recipients about their experiences at ISCoS and how the grants will impact their research.
